This new machine sits alongside our existing TC5000 punch taking our capability for processing sheet material to two punches and four lasers. This investment is primarily to satisfy increased demand, in particular from the Retail and Energy Management sectors, but many of our customers will benefit from our additional capability. In particular the brush bed means scratches will not be introduced to the underside of the sheet providing a quality improvement for surface critical products.
Jonathan Collins (Operations Director) says “The decision to purchase a second punch was due to increased demand together with the need to increase flexibility to our customers whilst safeguarding product supply. Both the TC3000 & TC5000 punches, and indeed all of our CNC machines are covered by our stringent daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance program. However we are happy to have mitigated the impact that an unforeseen breakdown would have on the service we give to our customers.
Two CNC punches and four flatbed Lasers including a Brightline Fiber laser in edition to the extensive folding, fabricating, and powder coating capability secures Secal’s position in the top tier of sheet metal subcontractors.
